Sometimes you just need a pixel-perfect presentation for your management. Or you want to put up dashboards with your corporate identity on a big screen. But you also don’t want to copy over data to Powerpoint and keep updating that information for the rest of your life. Canvas to the rescue! First, we are importing some data and then we will turn to the special capabilities of Canvas — a new component of Kibana. It is both powerful and also a bit scary initially since all you have is a white canvas on which you can arrange visualizations, logos, texts,… Together we create some screens to give you a data driven, live, and still fully customizable presentation.
