During the last decade, personal data breaches & privacy concerns have created a mindset shift in how companies are facing structural problems about the way information services have been built until the date. New data regulations and emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology and Secure Multiparty Computation are enabling new ways of governing data where the citizen is located as the center of everything, ending the artificial scarcity of personal data and enabling a new internet where interactions are built on top of privacy, by default.
During this talk, we’ll learn more about Self Sovereign Identity characteristics & main open platforms, and how this will impact the core of the main industries and services that surround us, from a business and citizen standpoint.
