In this talk, we’ll show you how Alexa researchers are applying machine learning techniques that leverage large-scale AWS resources at multiple levels of the AI stack to make Alexa smarter in five research areas: competence, context awareness, knowledge, natural interaction and self-learning. Combined work in these areas help Alexa be more useful and delightful by shifting the cognitive burden for more complex tasks from our customers to Alexa.
