Transforming Transport is a H2020 horizon project, which has recently been awarded as the best European big data project. It consists on the application of Big Data and Advanced Analytics techniques (Machine Learning and Deep Learning) focusing on seven different transport areas, having each one of them two pilots of study.
We would explain Minsait’s experiences on airports (terminal passenger mobility), rail infrastructure (predictive maintenance on high-speed trains) and highways (vehicle flux and accident rate on Málaga – Marbella and Northern coastline in Portugal).
After a brief contextualization, the technical process, algorithm and tools used in order to accomplish each goal will be shown in detail.
