Álvaro holds a degree in Telematics Engineering from Carlos III University (Spain) and Paderborn University (Germany), and complemented his education with a master’s degree in Statistics and Big Data analysis from UNED (Spain). He’s specialiced in Big Data and Data Visualization.
Álvaro joined Telefonica in 2013, in the big data unit. He took part in the creation on LUCA, and now leads two of the key products of the area, LUCA Fleet and LUCA Comms.
He is also a professor in several universities, where he teaches Data Visualization and big data technologies.
